Your reality check
This is your weekly decision capacity — what’s left after real-life commitments.
Enter your averages and press Calculate.
How this works
Most people don’t “lack discipline” — they lack uncommitted time. This tool estimates your true free time by subtracting your real-life commitments (sleep, work, commute, household/care, screen time, and life admin) from 24 hours. The result is your weekly decision capacity: the time you can realistically allocate to a goal without pretending your obligations don’t exist.
Use it as a baseline. If your free time looks smaller than expected, the next move is usually not “try harder” — it’s choosing one category to reduce or protect a consistent 30–60 minute block.
What this tool calculates
This calculator estimates your true free time by subtracting your daily commitments from 24 hours. It’s designed to be fast, realistic, and private — so you can see what you can actually sustain each week.
How to use it
- Enter your typical daily averages (use a 7-day average if your week varies).
- Click Calculate to see your weekly free time and a capacity label.
- If your day totals more than 24 hours, reduce one category until the day fits reality.
Why it matters
Your weekly free time is your decision capacity. Once you know the number, you can plan goals with integrity — and avoid overcommitting based on fantasy schedules.
